Ceramic Reinforced Glass Ionomer Filling Material

Advanced Healthcare’s Ceramic Reinforced Glass Ionomer (CRGI) improves upon the silver reinforced restorative materials currently available, by substituting the silver tin alloy for a ceramic reinforcing agent.

The main advantage of doing this is to significantly improve the aesthetics – No more 'black' fillings. Silver reinforced GI’s and amalgams are often criticised for their poor aesthetics, but sometimes there is no alternative where a strong, durable restoration is required. However now with the introduction of their CRGI, Advanced Healthcare have given dentists the option of cost effective, more aesthetic, yet still strong material.
